PP&S has taken care of my Father with a viewing in Dress Blue Uniform. Excellent Job. Though no viewing of my Mother the affair was handled with care, compassion, and concern. Do I recommend them? Going to talk to them soon and pre-pay my final expenses.

I will start by saying I do not even want to give this place even 1 star. The most horrible experience being the first time handling a death of a family member. My father passed away and was sent to this place before family was contacted. We were told after a couple hours of transfering him that we would get a phone call from a director. That call never came. We called later that night and the man on the phone didn't even have any information about my father. He said he would have a director contact us in the morning. That call never came either. We finally contacted them at 12pm and was once again told someone would call us. We finally received a call and was told we couldnt even make an appt. Until the next afternoon. The next day, we went to our appt. To see our father. The stench when you walk in is terrible. They waited around a little bit and couldnt even answer a first simple question. They had to leave the room and come back with an answer. At this point we did not want to discuss rates for anything, we just wanted to see out father. The cosmetics on his face were caked on, not natural looking at all. We had a room so we can mourn the loss of our father, but all we could hear was staff arguing upstairs. Very unprofessional. We took our rate sheets with us home. Two times, maybe even three times more expensive then the surrounding area. Since they said they were available 24 7 I called to see what charges had accured since he had been there. I was told the director had left and then after I questioned their availability of 24 7. There magically was a director there. She was very short and did not seem to want to discuss rate. We decided to move him to another facility. When we signed our release from this place, we were told the balance would be forwarded to our new funeral home. I asked what the balance was. .. Her response was " Are you okay?" I just lost my father, why would anyone in this situation be okay. Long story short. They do not like to talk to you about your charges, but they have no problem racking up charges. ( luckily for us since we didnt get the choice to go here, we did not have to pay these ) They are disrespectful in a time of great loss. Extremely unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Not compassionate. Very monotone.
