I called Will after buying a house and finding out that the beautiful bamboo in the backyard was overgrown and damaging the side of the house. Neighbors recommended that I try to cut it down myself and pour diesel or Crossbow. I wanted to at least try a more sustainable option first. Will came over within days of my inquiry during the busy season. He spent about an hour or two sawing down the bamboo and applying NoGo growth inhibitor. He gave me the saw blade and half a bucket of NoGo to maintain it in the spring (I didn't have enough money to dig it out completely at this time). Will gave me alot of useful tips about how to cover the roots with a deck and how to use the bamboo stalks. Also, his sparkling personality lifted me out of my grumpy mood.

Called ahead about buying bamboo shoots for a project. Was given the impression that they knew what I needed and drove 10 miles out of the way to get there. After waiting for a while for another customer, picked out some bamboo shoots that may or may not work due to size of the holes inside (picked out enough that if some don't, it wouldn't matter), found out the cost was $5 per shoot! Never thought dead bamboo could possibly cost that much. Can't imagine doing any kind of building project with how expensive they were. Probably won't be returning, knowing that I could have gotten something else with the exact dimensions I need for less than half the cost.

Had good variety, but stepping onto the lot I automatically felt like I was in a high pressure sales situation. Both father and sun were relentless. Some may call them passionate I suppose but for me it was stressful and of-putting. Couldn't wait to get out of there. They had a lot of knowledge and what seemed like average prices. Consults carry a $100 surcharge that is put towards your construction if you use them.

This father and son team have tremendous knowledge when it comes to the topic of bamboo. They helped my husband and I choose several plants that worked with our budget and aesthetic needs. They are kind and courteous at the core but are also very strong business minded. I would recommend contacting them!

David & Will bent over backwards to help us contain bamboo that was finding it's way into our yard from our neighbor's. They explained what they were doing each step of the way and approached the project in a very thorough, practical fashion. They also took the time to educate us about the bamboo we were dealing with and left us with very clear instructions on what to do should we have any future issues. Pricing was more than fair in my opinion and they stuck to the quoted price. If you've got a problem with bamboo or want to do something beautiful with it, give these guys a call?
