The technician was pleasant and quick with his work. We had 3 locks changed and about 20 keys made. Unfortunately many of our staff reported that they keys did not work. We asked Davis Lock to return and take care of that. They insisted that the reason was the new lock springs they put in are so hard to turn that our staff could not physicality turn them by using the key. They insisted on charging another $80 to have their tech come out and tell us it was our fault. I called another locksmith they replaced the locks and now they operate normally. I spoke directly to the owner Bryan and tried to explain this to him, all he was interested in was the $80.00 for the last service call (which we paid), and not my satisfaction with his company's work. So I told him he left me no choice but to leave a one star review. I even mentioned that all I needed was an apology and I would not write this review. He was only interested in pointing out that we were wrong and he was right. So my advice is to run to any other professional locksmith company where the owner cares about customer satisfaction and the quality of their work.
OMG. These guys are awesome. I brought in a Mercedes lock which they admitted wasn't their strength. They figured it out and fixed the tumbler within an hour. I have no idea how they did it since the key was not turning in the tumbler to remove it. The best experience I've ever had with a locksmith. Highly recommend!!!
Seriously the nicest man I've ever met. I locked my keys in my car and John said he was leaving as soon as I hung the phone up from speaking with him. He was at my house within 15-20 min and it literally took him like 2 sec to unlock the door. BUT his generosity did not stop there, he continued to offer us FREE keys for our car and house. Check the battery in one of the car remotes because it hadn't been working.. the battery turned out to be fully charged so he then offered to try to reprogram the key using his computer. Again, all of out of generosity. He also makes and programs almost ANY kind of car key for wayyyy cheaper than the dealer. Very friendly man and offered us so much information without hesitation!
These guys are pros and as an added bonus they have the old style business ethic. They guarantee their work or they will make it right. I have yet to have anything not work correctly the first time. I have a rather old project car and while the blanks for the keys were not cheap, they were in stock. I got two sets of keys and they are flawless in function. The people working inside were polite and knowledgeable.
I've had car and rack keys replaced by this group. Excellent and fast service. They know their speciality. And if I have followup questions, they are quick to answer to ensure any concerns are addressed.
