Cashed out at the Self Checkout 11/03/17 11:16am. The female staff working the Self Checkout is rude, exhibited poor customer service, and had a zombie-like disposition. I was shopping for gifts for a brother-in-law. One of the items had a security tag on it. When I brought it to her to remove the tag before I scan it, she proceeded in a very rude and unprofessional manner to point at the register while saying repeatedly "No no no nope. Scan it first"; with the look in her face and her attitude suggesting she was thinking I would steal such a thing. Never coming to this Home Depot again.
Long time pro customer, and now I work for a vocational school. Home Depot should really rethink how they select their employees to work at the pro counter. I went in today to replace a broken saw so I would be prepared for the next day. The regular check lines (all 2 of them minus the self check) were slammed so I ventured over to the pro counter with our contractor's card. I make eye contact with the fellow while he's working on something on the computer (he's busy, I get it) and patiently wait for a greeting/acknowledgement/ something. Minutes pass..... NOTHING.
Went in to buy a few small things ended up speaking to Robert who works with the power tools. And the Keith the Milwaukee guy. these guys were way to excited for one. Some how I walked out with 700.00 in tools. Best service I've gotten in a long time. Store has gotten a lot better this past year.
I went to Home Depot so I could build a box for my cat’s litterbox. I wasn’t sure exactly what to get as far as lumber. Steven was working in lumber and helped pick out what I needed and made the cuts for me. He has awesome customer service! Much appreciated!
Really good service and smart people. I used their sub-contract services and referrals on an expensive home and it turned out really well! Other than Precision Countertops, I would recommend their recommendations and people.
This would be a 1 star review, but the guy who finally helped me was courteous and gave me a 10% discount. In case management isn't aware: pro customers spend A LOT of money in their stores, and don't have time for obvious bull $#it and disregard. I'll be suggesting moving this account elsewhere tomorrow. Sheldon Adelson was never a great guy, but he has ruined this company.
