The enterpise places in Beaverton are much better.
Booked online and car was clean and ready when we arrived. Parking lot is small and full of vehicles, so plan accordingly. Drop off was busy, but surprisingly quick. We even had to add extra drivers during our rental period and the process was easy (although there was an added cost).
They didnt have available car but the guy in charge was very nice and promised me to get one later that day! I ended up not renting but I cant complain as I didnt have a prior reservation. So if you are planning to rent a car from them then make sure to make a reservation well ahead.
If I could give zero stars, I would. We reserved and pre-paid for a convertible about a month in advance at the Avis branch of this location. We specifically wanted a convertible so we could drive up the coast to Seattle and then Vancouver as part of our wedding/honeymoon trip.
Well, I did reach Lester when we returned the car at the end of our trip, and he said he'd get to the bottom of the issue and would call me back. That was almost 3 months ago now... no call back from Lester. I don't care if the guy at the desk said we got a "great deal" on a nice car. We didn't get the type of car we splurged for for our wedding/honeymoon trip, and apparently they don't care if their customers are satisfied. I will never rent from Avis again.
We were told that there had been 4 convertible reservations but only 2 cars available... so we were SOL. Why did your reservations system even let that happen, and why weren't we notified of the issue in advance??? When we complained, we were given a small discount and were told we could speak to the territory manager, Lester Gates.
Also, they overcharged me toll that I have paid by myself, and did not recognized it. They also charged me some other unknown fee with no reason.
The waiting time is very very long , not matter when your reservation it is. You have to wait up to 30 minutes, because there is always only one agent working with not good attitude.
I would give less stars if I could. If you really want to have your time wasted then this is the place to do it at. I am certain that if they didnt have Costco backing them that they would be out of business already. Hours wasted this morning, they cant even be bothered to answer the phones. 12 o-clock reservation and no cars here for me. Not even a were sorry. The rates keep changing, they tried to downgrade my car but not the price. Absolutely everything about this place was a waste of my time
We called the morning of and asked if we could pick up the car early... sure, no problem, it's waiting for you! We got to the lot and there was no convertible to be found. The guy at the desk didn't realize that they brought a hard top and not a convertible (the car was brand new and very nice... but definitely small and NOT ideal for sightseeing).
